HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY PLAYGROUP!!
   
Thank you to everyone who came along to the fete and for all those that helped out.  One of the original Committee members of playgroup helped organised a lovely lunch to celebrate the 40th birthday of Playgroup.

Come and celebrate our 40th Birthday at our Family Fun Day on Saturday 3rd July.  There will be a hog roast, bouncy castle, balloon modelling so lots to enjoy for everyone.

Annual General Meeting – Our AGM will be held on Wednesday 7th July 8pm at Playgroup.  The committee for next year will be voted in and all parents are invited.  Please come along even if you think you would not like to take up a specific role but are interested in the running of Playgroup.

Policies are reviewed prior to the meeting in order to be voted on at the AGM.  Please ask Kay, Helen or Sandra if you would like to see the reviewed policies (in the week before the AGM), or pass any comments on the ones that are given to parents as their children start Playgroup.

End of Year Party/ Sandra’s Leaving Do – Come and say thank you and goodbye to Sandra on Wednesday 14th July from 7.30 at The Wheatley.  Cost is £10 including buffet, please see flyer in your pigeon-hole for details and text Fiona Pitt on 07764 252440.

Leavers Presentation – Wednesday 21st July
Doors open 11.00am, performance starts 11.10am.  The children will perform a selection of songs, both seasonal and connected to our themes this term.  Pre-School age children who do not normally attend on Wednesdays are welcome to join us at 11.00am to join in the performance.  There will be no lunch session on this day.

A special thank you to all committee members who have freely given their time over the past year and especially to those who are leaving this year; Sandra Scarlett, Julie-Anne Beevers and Fiona Pitt.  Thanks also to Claire Macina and Karen Lambe for keeping Playgroup supplied with snacks!

We hope that everyone enjoys this half term, especially to those who are preparing for school.  Best wishes to all in their new schools and thank you to all parents and carers for their support.

Playgroup closes on Wednesday 21st July for the Summer holidays and re-opens on Wednesday 8th September 2010.
